This help manual is intended primarily to present the general design concepts for WRDB in both a technical and non-technical manner, describe how the program works, and give some simple tutorials on how to use WRDB. Detailed information regarding what each input field in the many forms used by WRDB is generally not provided here. Instead use the "What's This?" help available in two ways:
Click or tab to the field of interest and press the F1 key.
Click the ? button at the right end of the form's title bar, then click the part of the form you want information on.
When you do this, a context-sensitive pop-up help description will appear thus:
Press the ESC key to clear the help text.
In addition, many forms include a Help button that opens this help file to the appropriate topic.
To ease you through the learning process, WRDB provides additional guidance when you use a function that is a bit more advanced unless you configure WRDB to be in Expert Mode. For example:
Every time you start to access this feature, the informational dialog is displayed. Once you are comfortable with the concept, you can suppress display thereafter by checking the "Hide this message from now on" box at the bottom before clicking the Close button (or pressing ESC). You can restore all informational dialogs by using the Application Options tab of the Project Preferences form.
