Supervisor Access

You can provide additional security for your WRDB project by enabling Supervisor access to your project. Do this by entering a non-empty Supervisor password on the Project Preferences form. When logged in, you are able to perform many (possibly destructive) functions:

• Create New Project
  

• Project Preferences
  

• Project Management
  

• Database Explorer
  

• Validate Data
  

• Transfer Data
  

• Check Data
  

• Register Software

If you set the preference "Read-Only Project", non-supervisors will be unable to see menu and toolbar items that would allow them to alter the contents of the database:

• New Working Table
  

• Data Files & Tables
  

• Explore Database
  

• etc.

In addition, you can set a project preference that will suppress the display of the following advanced menu (and toolbar) items when non logged in as a Supervisor:

• Load/Save Data Files
  

• Display Tools
  

• Delete All Records
  

• Convert Records
  

• Search Tables
  

• Import LSPC
  

• Append to Table
  

• Select From All Tables
  

• Select SQL
  

• Statistics Report
  

• Comparative Statistics Report
  

• Depth Profile Graph

• Export Multiple Files
