You can animate longitudinal profile graphs for any data series loaded from BMD files. To display the animation toolbar, right-click on any visible toolbar, select View | Toolbars | Animation or click View | Animate to start the animation after displaying the toolbar:
The toolbar always appears at the bottom of the screen. It consists of a trackbar you slide to set the desired date-time to display (displayed in a tooltip as you move). The first six buttons are the typical VCR-type buttons for positioning the trackbar at the beginning and end, moving one timestep previous and next, and starting and pausing animation. The hourglass button is used to set the animation speed; the paint bucket button allows you to create a movie file (.avi) containing the entire animation sequence. Once complete, the movie is automatically displayed. The last button (shaped like an "X"), is used to either stop the creation of the animated movie or hide the animation toolbar.
